We thank you for your support on October 20th, purple pride day!

On October 20th, millions of people around the world wore purple in response to the string of recent suicides by gay teens. A girl named Brittany McMillan created an event to hold the worldwide LGBTQ Spirit Day, and it spread around the internet quickly. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBTQ flag. We created our own event and invited our friends to post photos of themselves and tell us about how they showed their support. Madeline Colli and her group of friends wore lots of purple. Melissa Meier and the entire Whole Foods store wore purple as well. In addition, Stephan Johnson also participated to spread awareness. Here are some photos of our amazing participants!

For gay pride, blog engine Tumblr turned their website purple today and created this.
