I found this vintage Lane Bryant ad on a Jezebel post. I’m not sure what year it is from but it’s obviously very different from their modern ads. What I’m more interested in is the “Calling all chubbies” copy. It’s interesting to see copy that is so straightforward, so much that it might even be offensive to some people. What do you think of it?
