Victoria's secret modelMost of the men watching a Victoria’s Secret show think ‘what a nice butt’, while many of the women think ‘If only I had a butt like that’. This, it seems, can be achieved in a very simple way. Specifically, Selita Ebanks revealed that preparations for their runway shows are passionately devoted to careful promoting of ‘the perfect body’ myth.  She reveals: “It’s all about creating the illusion of this amazing body on the runway. People don’t realize that there are about 20 layers of makeup on my butt alone.” The body makeup alone takes about an hour to apply plus hair and face makeup, which can take up to five hours. A team of about five people works on each individual model, all 38 of them. We have to say, we love Selita’s honesty. They must look forward to their post-show shower! Article excerpts from Coco Perez and Dalje.com I think this is a great example of the amount of effort and time it takes to create these “perfect” illusions. It’s no wonder the average person feels inadequate – we’ve been striving for something that’s not even real!
